I have written and pitched hundreds of press releases and stories, liaised between clients and creatives on hundreds of traditional and new media projects, planned tens of conferences and events and managed several, million-dollar budgets. However, I most enjoy and am most proud of the strategic planning and positioning work I have lead. Below are two examples, both for the Illinois Soybean Association.
Illinois is one of the most connected states with numerous railways, waterways, airways and highways. The infrastructure is also at the top of the nation's list of disrepair. This campaign loudly brought attention to the disastrous effect potholes and lock closures can have on the agriculture industry and the state's economy.

The biodiesel market has strong potential in Illinois, but there is lingering anxiety about using it. This campaign rebranded the fuel from having a single benefit--being home grown--to having 360º benefits for farmers, truckers and passenger vehicle drivers.
